FEDERAL BOARD OF INTERMEDIATE AND SECONDARY EDUCATION 1-8/4, ISLAMABAD No. GF.(1SFBISEIADMNS 2 -Ly September 2°, 2021 NOTIFICATION 'tis notified for information and necessary action of all concerned that in view of the Inter-Provisional Education Ministers Conference (IPEMC) decisions, the Competent Authority has been pleased to approve the following promotion criteria for the candidates of SSC & HSSC Annual Examinations, 2021 of FBISE, in anti Governors (BoG): ipation of approval of Board of PROMOTION CRITERIA FOR THE CANDIDATES OF SSC AND HSSC ANNUAL EXAMINATIONS, 2021 OF FBISE All candidates of grade 9", 10", 11” and 12” shall be awarded marks in compulsory subjects on the basis of average marks obtained in the elective subjects and Mathematics (In case of 9" and 10"). Furthermore, upto 5% proportionate additional marks shall also be awarded in compulsory subjects. Actual marks obtained by the ~ candidate in the subject(s) they appeared shall be shown. However, candidates who have compartment in any number subject(s)/absent, passing marks 33% shall be awarded. ii. For candidates of grade 10" & 12", the marks of grades 9” and 11" will be awarded on the basis of grade 10” and 12" respectively. ili, For the subjects which include practical(s), 50% of total practical marks as baseline marks will be granted to all candidates and remaining 50% will be proportionately calculated on the basis of marks obtained in the relevant theory paper and would be accordingly granted. iv. The marks in improvement cases shall be awarded as per papers given by the candidates. Candidates who remained absent in all subjects (full absent) shall be treated as absent i.
