shaped delaminations are presented by equivalent circular delaminations [9]. Loads


over thevcontact region can be considered as a point load at the center of
the contact region. Through the thickness of the plate, and according to Eq. (1),
it is also noted that shear stress varies approximately parabolically as shown in
Fig.17.
