Explanation of the meaning of Law

Law is a set of regulations that are coercive, containing an order, prohibition or


permission to do or not do something with the intention of regulating the order in
people's lives. Law is a human work in the form of norms that contain behavioral
instructions.
According to the Big Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI), law is a regulation or custom
that is officially considered binding, which is confirmed by the authorities or the
government.
Laws, regulations, and so on to regulate the social life of the community. If
Indonesian citizens do not comply with the existing law, they will be subject to sanctions
in the form of fines and imprisonment.
Obedience to regulations and laws is a concept that must be realized in every
citizen. The more a person obeys the law, it can be concluded that the level of legal
awareness is also high.

Law is a collection of rules that can bind and apply only to the community, but also
applies to the judges themselves. In other words, the law is not only intended and
