What's this?

Zy-el ugf is basically a variant of zy-el 4.5.1 by seomaster, but with several
tweaks and changes (mostly on cube recipes) for emphatize freedom.
You are no more limited by level requirements on the recipes, malus on charms of
making and demon items are removed soo you can actually think of use them now
instead just spam crafted jewels.
Also now the recipes accepts any item of the specified kind, soo zy-el artifacts
and uniques aren't just collector fodder if you wish build them up.
Could even make up self challenges like in tournaments where you build up normal
items or something else, you have the freedom to dedcide now.
with new oskill jewels even the starting class choice is not that relelevant, you
can give it any support skill you wish later on top of having your chara skills go
up to 250 like in montex version, since now the skill tree can actually be
completed.

An important note: i'm a follower of the self-adjustment politics. I'm perfectly


aware that selling the uber elixirs for 75k or locks for just 100k is very abusable
and cheap, like several other recipes implemented. But the nice thing is that you
aren't forced to use them if you don't want. Locks are cheap? the usual way for
make them with collector and stuffs it's still in. Ctc are too cheap? limit
yourself to use the recipe just once. zy scrolls in shop are cheap? don't buy them
and collect fragments as usual. It's your choice. Wanna break the game quickly as
you can? Do it. Wanna build up slowly and go from 0 to hero during a long trip? you
can also do it. Play, experiment and have fun. If you add too much you can always
take out your uber jewel and restart over (or return for a bit to other zy-el
builds, moonpaw kenet and seomaster version are pretty good themeselves as well). i
Believe montex build challenge should be still up to the task probabily. If you are
looking for new graphics, monsters unique skills quests or crafting you will be
disappointed, nothing has been added to this one in that sense.

i made the changes, and tried some outputs for test everything, but it's possible
that something is off since i didn't had the high level chara and the stuffs and
the time for try out every single output.
If you find something message me in some ways and i will try to fix it (if i can).

don't like alot of the changes you made, without your effort i wouldn't be able to
create my version, seomaster for making a version for replace montex bugged one and
finally kato for creating the original zy-el back in the days with such an amazing
concept.

Probabily this thing will never be updated unless some community patch or some
people that wanna provide some stuffs pop up. I did everything i wanted to do and i
don't have the skills or the interest to add more (this zy should have plenty or
monsters and the uber levels already in should be enough). If you think my work or
just some part of it are worthy feel free to upload new monsters items and stuffs,
if i like them could be included. If you want use my version as base for your own
or take some stuffs or recipes go ahead, do everything you want. I don't mind at
all.
My zy-el changelog (most of info from 4.5 pdf included are still valid. These ones
take priority over them like for example the fact you almost always need to use a
cube lock like explained ahead)

-all the level requirement additions on recipes should be removed (no more +40
level req every megaload and such)

-unsocket recipe now keep the socket and requires just a single key (socketed item
+ key = item + socketed items + key)

-collector accepts magic item for +5 and normal items for +1, no item is useless
now (or almost, since normal item need to be normal quality no crude no superior no
anything else)

-recipes should accept any item of the specified kind in documentation (for example
crafted amulet input can be applied to any amulet, crafted jewel accept any kind of
jewels and soo on)

-removed drain life on charm of making, use anything you want without worries. They
can also be changed without any gem, just cube them for change the mode. All the
charm of making are reduced to 2*2 size no matter the tier.

-removed penalities on using demon keys on amulets and rings, also removed penality
from demon items (maybe now they could be worthy instead just wait to spam mega
jewels)

-aside the items that comes for free with the remotion of level requirements or
require a zy-el scroll (like megaload jewels), every other recipes that involve
crafting now require a cube lock and retain the attributes of the base item: Want
pump a normal wand? a magic charm? now you can do it if you provide the expensive
cube lock.
for the jewels, applying the rune bonus x1-x20 rerolling the jewel it's still
active and can be used without cube lock.
(for example any jewel + rune + elixir + mag ring + optional adder = new crafted
jewel with rune bonus / any jewel + rune + mag ring + cubelock + optional adder =
same jewel + rune bonus added

- changed two npc shop: akara sells all gems, all runes, and zy-el scroll. Charsi
sells all cube locks and cube adders (Prices aren't touched form the original file
soo well maybe are too low but whatever if want a more legit game don't buy stuffs
from shop and just build up extractors as usual. That was done for let even who
have limited time for play to get stuffs without all the time for build collector
or the necessary materials; if you wanna abuse it, it's up to you. Or just start
buy stuffs from act 2). Other shops are unchanged for who wanna enjoy the shops
from original version.

- elixir now are drinkable and give 1 skill point and 5 stats point. That will let
you to complete the skill tree despite high skill point requirement (like cube
locks in shop they are very abusable soo it's up to you decide what to do). Also
let you use high requirement equipment sooner and easier.

- now all hirelings should be able to equip every item aside class items. (can
equip one handed weapon and a shield and a two handed weapon alone, but not two one
handed weapon at same time. A user reported the second weapon disappear if you do
so)

- RECIPE FOR ADDING A SINGLE SKILL IS CHANGED TO ADD A SINGLE OSKILL!


look at recipes for add a single skill in documentation but keep in mind input is
any jewel and need any unique item instead of an elixir. A cubelock is required too
(no adders are accepted for obvious reasons).
for example any jewel + perfect skull + stamina potion + rune el + any unique
(probabily since a jewel is the input already you can't use a unique jewel as
secondary material) + cubelock = same jewel + 1 magic arrow (can be used multiple
times)
the single skill adder from vanilla zy still works from *2 to *20, works on any
charms, require a cubelock and retain the charm stats if someone still want to use
them, so nothing is lost.

in this new zy the recipe is more expensive and flawless, perfect, royal and
imperial are used. For the input keep in mind that can be any item quality not just
a crafted.
Not every combination of stuff is accepted, the ring and amulet used need to be of
the same quality and the gem quality change according to their quality.
If you use magic quality then you need to use a flawless gem, any other quality
will not work. if you use rare it's a perfect one, if you use crafted it's a royal
one, and finally if you use unique ones it's an imperial one.

exactor and upgrader for sets have been disabled (don't want people "cheat" on
getting the special reward instead make them drops from monsters). Every other
means for generate sets should be disabled.

den of evil is the hardest (probabily) area in the game now. Contain almost exact
clones of boss monsters (level 50n, 175NT, 250H), with the same exact drops and
experience. Try to go there just when you are very confident you can handle them;
the list include andariel, duriel, diablo, mini-diablo, baal and immortals.
(mephisto is problematic soo don't ask for him to be added)

all charms rarity has been adjust to 1 for setcharms and 255 for every other unique
charm. I hope that will help to don't make spawn setcharms and jokers randomly. The
itemlevel in unique.txt for setcharms and jokers have been raised to 999 for be
extra safe.

setcharms and jokers now are a whole new item type (cm9) instead of beign a grand
charm (cm3). This is just an internal change but should make sure the setcharms and
jokers don't pop out when using unique charms recipe upgrade or with collector.

cube the runes of a runeword to obtain a unique jewel based on them
IMPORTANT: cubemain can't make a difference about rune order or item kind,
runewords that use a jewel are excluded and rune single bonuses are excluded from
the output jewel.
For example trial of fire (ort ral nef tir) will output always the same result
don't change between boot belt torso and shield.
and for example runeword chekov (tal + ral + eth + ith) and sulu (eth + ith + ral +
tal) will generate always a sulu jewel since the cube can't make a difference about
the order.
Like any other combination that duplicates or switch the rune order in some way
like nef + nef + nef will always generate a single output.
So don't report a bug about a jewel runeword due to those limitation, take it as a
wacky feature to do something extra with the runes, far from beign complete or
perfect

bone wave (eastern sun) replace teeth for necromancer. The damage has been greatly
improved (psysically and magically), have 33% chance of knockback and should be
viable in hell with the usual curse and aura support.

cold wave (baal skill) replace fire blast for assassin. The damage has been greatly
improved (cold and psy damage), have 33% chance of knockback and should be viable
in hell with the usual curse and aura support.

Diablo Pokèball replace decoy for amazon. the skill create up to 20 diablo-looking
decoys that draws enemy fire and damage them with thorns aura. They are extremely
damaging and should be hell viable to some extent (some enemies in hell got
oneshotted while others get barely a dent). Think it as a broken build for normal
and nightmare and something extra for hell, but don't think they can do everything
alone. Maybe could be rebalanced in future if needed.

pokeball synergies for level up and hp% of the caster have been nerfed to 1% each
for counterbalance the decoys numbers somewhat. (they are still pretty much
immortal, but was or 1% or the decoy life could go with minus or die in one hit.)

thorns aura should be *10 more effective (for help the diablo pokéball)

fire and cold act 1 hireling now can use bone wave and cold wave instead fire
arrow-multishot and could arrow freezing arrow (a single skill but alot more
powerful and with more chance to trigger at highter levels). Maybe now can be a
more decent support. Other hirelings aren't changed as i believe melee approach
don't pay off for them.

sandstorm (eastern sun) replace arctic blast for druid. The damage has been greatly
improved, have 33% chance of knockback and should be viable in hell with the usual
curse and aura support.

ancient call warcry replace taunt. the cap of this lowering resistance warcry is
capped at -300% (since lower resist cap couldn't be raised use this in combo with
the "new" conviction, should be able to handle even immortals in hell)

conversion have a minimal chance of convert of 50%. Basically even if was 900+
oskill level the chance was always 10% soo i raised it for every non pala to use.

convinction aura have the -res cap raised to 300%

immolation (sorceress version Eastern sun) replaces nova for sorceress. This
fireball nova was something butawski tried to implement when we were still
completely clueless at skills tampering and was in since earlier version but wasn't
documented. I didn't modified his work because i was full of stuffs to do, but if
the damage is too low or don't work well i will try to adjust it according to
players report.

the maphack in docs folder have been replaced with a less bugged version that don't
crash when you open the stats page

all delay on skills is removed

if you can't enter some act 5 areas, try to set normal attack as your skill button.
Dunno what's the cause but chara won't enter or exist some places in act 5 with
some skill active (not just a problem of my mod, in eastern sun for example i had
that issue with thunder wave, here was reported with volcano)

4 golem type life and damage should be greatly improved, can summon up to 15 of
them (15 for each type) and you can have all 4 type on field

valkirie life and damage should be improved (up to 5 summonable fixed)

run speed of all the summons is improved

you can summon up to 15 of each druid spirits and can have all 3 types on field at
same time

act 1 hirelings damage should be nerfed. Maybe some other adjustment will follow

javelin nova replace impale. Despite is in javelin skill tree you can use it with
every weapon equipped, it do the same damage as your weapon and ignore target
defense (it should always hit, don't rely on attack rating like guided arrow).
Basically is a replica of nezeramontias skill but since i couldn't copy the
original it's not the exact same. even if it's not displayed in skill description
the javelin should get a tiny damage bonus increasing the skill level. (since the
damage it's the exact same you see in character screen i didn't bother to adjust
the description)

identify scrolls shouldn't drop anymore, but you can still buy them at the shop in
case you need them for some recipe

skill tokens are in game. Those Torch are unique items that can be cubed with any
jewel for add the item oskill. They are ideal for who wanna make a chara using only
drops and such (like only scrolls elixirs and torches). Despite beign unique items
they have the same chance drop of the elixirs. They don't replace the other oskill
jewel recipe that remains active as before.

rune upgrade now support *2 + key, *4 + key and *8 without key

charsi and other vendors now sell an item for access your stash outside of town
(cost around 270k after usage it disappear). Thanks to @bro2706 for providing
