Usability: children learn to talk as they participate on the usual, everyday communication that they
experience during their initial years, by the use of audio visual materials they are exposed to language
knowledge and skills. Research has proven the role of audio visual book. The ease of using audio visual
books contributes to its success in developing verbal skills in children.

Generalizability- since audio-visual materials are software based it can cater to a lot of learners and
educators because it is downloadable and does not require printing and shipping to reach the learners
and educators.

Adaptability-different parts of the content of the audio-visual materials can still be used for other
purposes, like for example an audio-visual story book such as some fairy tales can not only be used to
expose the learners to language but can also be used to teach students comprehension as well as good
manners or even the difference between bad and good, and reality vs. fantasy.

Flexibility- thru audio-visual materials, students and teachers can use it in different subjects and some of
audio visual books can also be appropriate to use for all ages.

Inclusivity- Audio Visual books can be useful for learners with disability. It is also not gender specified
and since it is a software there are options to change the language depending on what language it is to
be taught.
