GEMS: The Month that Changed Humanity!

What happened in month of Hijriyah:

- Rasul saw. starts the intention to migrate to Madina.

- They migrate because Allah said so, there's no more chance to spread the word of Allah in Makkah.

- Rasul saw. and his companion through hard days when they imigrate.

- Nine years after the Hijrah, there's hundred thousand of muslim. And now there's about 2.7 billion
muslims all over the world.

- Hijrah has change how world see the humanity. That was starting point how we can live comfortably as
muslim.

There's no more (physically) hijrah after this!

But we can imigrate in our place from the disobedience to the obedience of Allah, moving from what I
like to what Allah like. And keep practice as adults so the youth and children can see it and then they will
do the same.

ِ ‫اَل ِهجْ َرةَ بَ ْع َد ْالفَ ْت‬

‫ َوإِ َذا ا ْستُ ْنفِرْ تُ ْم فَا ْنفِرُوا‬،ٌ‫ َولَ ِك ْن ِجهَا ٌد َونِيَّة‬،‫ح‬

"There is no Hijra (i.e. migration) (from Mecca to Medina) after the Conquest (of Mecca), but Jihad and
good intention remain; and if you are called (by the Muslim ruler) for fighting, go forth immediately."
(Bukhari and Muslim)

Things to Remember:

1. Muharram is one of sacred month.

2. Do not injustice yourself by not taking advantage of this month.

3. The 10th day of Muharram is day of Asy-syura'. Fasting that day will remove the sins of the year
before. And fasting one day (before or after) is sunnah.

4. As muslim we do celebrate the sacred month, but we don't celebrate it with the disobidience.
