7 Scope of the report

In my report I have highlighted the various steps of Deposit and Investment Management of the
AIBL through the knowledge gained while working in its Muradpur Branch, Chittagong. A brief
overview of the AIBL has been given to understand its mission, vision, management, operations
and activities. So the scope of the report covers the comprehensive knowledge on the
organization of AIBL. Most importantly, I have tried to analyze and evaluate of deposit and
investment performance based on adequate information contained in documents and interviews
of banking officers.

1.8 Limitations of the Report

On the way of preparing this report, I have faced following problems that may be termed as the
limitations of the study:

 Bank’s policy of not disclosing some sensitive data and information for obvious reason
posed an obstacle to prepare more informative report.
 Personal limitations like inability to understand some official terms, office decorum etc.
created a few problems.
 The durations of completing internship program and preparing internship report was
inadequate. It was very difficult for me to understand an organization’s environment and
collect information in so short a time.
