FABRICATION OF AUTOMATED FOOD

WASTE SEPARATOR
ABSTRACT

Solid waste generation rates are rising fast with a pace of 11 million tons per day on a

worldwide scenario. Therefore, there is a need to solve this problem by segregating and

degrading the waste using various technological advancements.

In our institute we have seven hostels and all having their own individual mess, where

daily a large amount of kitchen waste is obtained which can be utilized for better purposes.

Kitchen waste was contain polyethylene carry bags and small steel objects. This project was

focused on separate the kitchen waste and make it as a use full organic feed stock for variable

use described in a chapter-II. For this purpose we fabricate the fully automated food waste

separator for kitchen usage.
