ABO UT I IS MA

Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards is the Government of Republic of


Indonesia scholarship scheme to fund Indonesian students for mobility program at top
Universities overseas.

Undergraduate students could spend one semester (4-6 months) at the overseas partner
university to study courses outside their major, to develop intercultural communication

network.

The scheme is centrally managed by Directorate General of Higher Education, Research


and Technology (DGHERT), Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology
(MoECRT) and is open for undergraduate students from all Indonesian higher education

GENERAL CRITERIA

IISMA Partner University must:


• Be accredited/recognized in their country
• Be ranked in top 5 in their country or in top 300 QS 2022 Ranking
• Experience in hosting international students, preferably Indonesian students

SPECIFIC CRITERIA

IISMA partner university MUST:


• Organize undergraduate level classes/courses with the following requirements:
• Students take 3 – 4 courses for one semester

• Students spend one semester (4 – 6 months, 16 meetings per course including exam)



• Accept TOEFL iBT, IELTS and Duolingo Test.
• Agree to accept list of IISMA awardees. No additional selection process by host university required.
• Offer monthly-payment accommodation (without meal plan) for IISMA Awardees, as well
quarantine if your government does not provide it.
• Organize and facilitate cultural events for the students.
• Provide any necessary services for international students. (e.g., pastoral care, airport transportation,
student counselling, student buddies/mentors orientation co-curricular/extra-curricular activities,
accommodation, travel information and immigration).
• Agree to avoid disputes resolution through any court and international arbitration; and agree to
resolve any disputes through mutual consultation.
