wb hello sir hello everyone i am dimas guntur saputra here i will tell you my
experience when i went on an excursion to merangin jambi geopark, it was one of my first
experiences which was very memorable for me i will not forget it, i went to merangin on on 8-10
October 2021, using a bus with other friends, arrived at merangin my friend and I went to rest at the
inn because the next day I will carry out hiking activities, the next morning I went to the jeram Ladeh
there can be found various kinds of rocks ranging from igneous rocks , there the place has a beautiful
view there we studied some of the rocks that were there, then proceeded to the 2nd location called
Teluk Gedang here we found sedimentary rocks, the very hot weather made us run out of water,
then proceeded to the 3rd location, namely water waterfall estuary karing. I am swimming in fresh
water to make the tiredness go away, here we had lunch together. After that we continued our
journey home by truck.
then the last day we traveled to goa senggering by crossing several small rivers which made the long
journey a little refreshing here the atmosphere was quite tense because of the conditions in it and
quite amazed to see nature with its beauty in it, here we found several types of stones ranging from
stone limestone, stalagmite and stalactite rocks, after we finished exploring in the cave we went
back to the inn to rest and clean our bodies, after that we all prepared our things to go back to
Jambi, then said goodbye to the villagers of Air Batu who I considered my own family, enough It was
hard to leave the Air Batu village but I really had to go back to Jambi again, after 3 days we were
there I finally went back to Jambi again to continue my online lectures again. that's my experience
while following the excursion in merangin jambi.
