Unfreezing

For the Unfreezing Stage, the best way to introduce the recommended change is by
making the stakeholders of Coca-Cola and everyone involved in the organization be
comfortable by informing them what are the benefits that everyone can get by that
organizational change. This also includes their recognition of the advantages and potential
improvements for the organization by doing performing that change, making them interested
and eager to be involved in it. Another effective way to reduce opposition is by implementing
Force Field Analysis and AKDAR model. With these, the people will be aware of the need for
change and give them knowledge how they can help on achieving that change. In that way,
confusion and misunderstanding will be reduced and complications will be clarified -- making
everyone in agreement.

Movement

This stage includes the engagement of employees and members of Coca-Cola in

applying the change. Their participation is necessary since this will educate them on what they
need to do to implement the change, build strong relationships, and in order for them to adapt
the change as well. Although there might be a chance of difficulty, the leaders and upper
management will be there to provide them guidance and specific skills necessary to effectively
going through the transitioning process. This also includes the initiation of the steps regarding
the strategic plan for change. This will be achieved by the involvement of the people,
developing strong relationships with them, and giving rewards. The use of surveys from
stakeholders is very helpful as well, since their insights will reflect what improvements must be
done in order to make the change successful.

Refreezing

Lastly, after all the evaluation and process of adapting the change, we need to continue
and maintain doing it. In order to stabilize the implemented change of Coca-Cola, the change
must be added as a part of the company’s strategy so that its application will be used over and
over again -- making it the new norm in the organization. This will be introduced to new
stakeholders so that the change will maintain as a standard for everyone newly involved in the
organization.

Conclusion

The Coca-Cola company has faced a lot of changes, and it’s one of the reasons why it is
still standing tall after 100+ years. And this way of implementing and adapting the change for
the company will serve as another step for its development and improvement. With the proper
introduction to stakeholders, the company will be able to start implement the change by
considering their comfortability and acquiring their trust. After the process of adaptation and
evaluation, the company will be able to develop strong relationships and gain benefits from it.
And by stabilizing this implemented change the company will succeed on its improvement and
continue to sustain this change for future generations.
