WRITING 2.
1. A customer is going shopping. He is going to buy two things. Write a conversation between the
salesclerk and the customer. Use “ How much is/are…? And the demonstratives
that/this/these/those; one, ones “ that we studied on page 17.

Add a prices to the items. Then, write the conversation.

2. A Shopping trip. Choose four things from the items above for your family. Ask for your best
friend’s opinion. Write the conversation.

Use the questions on the grammar focus section 10 on page 20 to ask about preferences, and use
the comparisons with adjectives to give opinions.

Ex.

A: I want to buy a laptop for my parents. Which one do you like better?

B: Well, I like ………. better. It’s nicer and…….

Video 2. Talk about your likes and dislikes

First answer the next survey with complete statements.

Then, record a video talking about your likes and dislikes. Remember you
can be as creative as you want you can insert music or pictures on you
video. Video approx. 1 or 2 minutes.
