Capstone update #2

This week I am going to try looking at the cookbooks Ms. Francis lent me and sticky note all the
things and details I like within the cookbooks. I will be doing this so I can try to find out what I
would like to have in my cookbook. I will also try to start compiling a list of all the recipes I would
like to include into my cookbook. This is harder than it seems because I want to include recipes
that are beginner and teen friendly. However I want the recipes to also be enticing, delicious and
easy to do. Some of my needs for this week are to definitely talk with my mentor once again and
plan the theme of my cookbook as I am still undecided. So to do this I need to take some and
just ruminate about what I want the theme, layout and overall message of the cookbook to be.
Some obstacles I anticipate are that I have so much creative liberty with this project I am going
to have a hard time deciding and pinpointing exactly what I want to do. Compared to last week I
haven't gotten much done other than finalizing my mentor. I believe that I haven't gotten any
work done this week because all of my other classes have been so hectic and the deadlines of
those classes seem a lot more imminent. A solution to fix this is to block out specific chunks of
time throughout the week in which I can only work on my capstone and nothing else.
