Webinar Title: Life of the Older Person

The start of their webinar seems to be confusing, I can’t hear what the reporters
are saying may be due to technical errors, and the audio has unnecessary noise in the
background. The reporter began to report her topic but I can’t really understand what
she is saying because the audio is not stable. Several students raised their complaints
in the chatbox because they cannot hear as well properly the audio of the reporters. The
reporters started from the beginning because they have now stable audio and signal,
finally I can now hear what are the reporters are saying. The first reporter discussed
what an older person is and its attributes but after quite some time, her report seems to
be confusing again because of the audio problem. Also, their Powerpoint presentation
has a delay which is why attendees cannot comprehend it properly. The second
reporter discussed the changes of women and men. Like the first reporter, I can’t hear
what he is saying because the audio is unstable. The third reporter discussed the topic
of Psychological aspects of aging, she focused on explaining the intellectual function of
a person’s brain. Her topic is interesting but their visual presentation (Powerpoint) has
no backup example pictures, and again like the 1st and second reporter what they are
saying cannot be heard properly by the attendees due to audio and signal problems. On
the other hand, the topic of the 4th and 5th reporters needs in-depth explanation since
the topic is all about the sexual aspect and sociocultural aspect of aging. Again, the
report ended with an unstable audio problem. Overall, throughout the whole session,
the presentation seems to be redundant but I understand the reporters because may be
due to their situation. I already encountered this kind of topic in my past years of
schooling, maybe I just need time to review this topic.
