To register your device on the GlobalStar platform, you need to access the
https://simplex.globalstar.com link and log in with the user and password provided by
GlobalStar.
After login in Simplex MyAccount you can acces the core "Device Management
Menu". This function allows the user to add, update or discontinue RTU (Remote Telemetry
Unit) operation. Other functions include the ability to perform searches, using various
criteria and display the content of the simplex polling parameters.
Adding Device Records - In the Device Management Menu hit the "+ add device" icon;
Device records can be added one at a time or in a batch of up to 1000 units. To add one unit
at a time, enter the ESN number, writing on the back of the device, in the ESN* label, and
fill in the rest of the fields.
To add a batch of devices, check on Use ESN Range, enter the first series of ESNs in the ESN
From field and the last series of ESNs in the ESN To field. The ESN series must be continuous
and not have any missing ESN number.
VAR Name field contain name of the Value Added Reseller;
Configuration ID - must be selected on DEFAULT;
Rate Plan - contains a list of available Price Plans offered to VAR's;
Valid To field - End effective date of the usage price component is valid until the end of the
day, after this date the device is deleted from the platform;
Routing Address - select the valid Routing Address from the list box, which represents the
primary address for data transfer to the VAR.
After all information has been entered, click on the Save button. A message displaying
"Device(s) succesfully added" will confirm your addition.
To register your device on the EVO GPS platform, you need to access the
https://partners.evogps.com/management/ link and log in with the user and password
provided by EVO GPS.
To add the GlobalStar device to the EVO GPS platform, click on Create Vehicle with
New Device and a new window appears.
