(PM&R) Association will be held virtually in October 2021. Collapsed situation

EVENT OVERVIEW
due to COVID-19 pandemic have made us unable to make this event physically,
but we are sure that its purpose and benets remain.
“Leap Towards Fifth Society: Our Children, Our Future, from PM&R
Perspective” is the theme of this year's event. Fifth Society (Society 5.0) is
proposed by Japanese Cabinet in the 5th Basic Science and Technology Plan,
bringing goals to create “Masyarakat Super Cerdas” or Super Intelligent
Society (MSC). Age of 1 to 5 years old as The Golden Age for children where all
aspects of intellectual development (intellectual, emotional, and spiritual
intelligence) goes through a marvelous development that will inuence and
determine their other abilities.
In relation to the health sector, Society 5.0 activates comfortable independent
living by : utilizing robots to provide life support, promoting healthy living,
being a tool for early detection of diseases through real-time automated health
check, optimizing ubiquitous care through shared physiological, medical data
and making use of robots to ease the burden of on-site care. These will help
minimize social burden associated with health care including PM&R service.
Society 5.0 must be well prepared in order to integrate virtual and real world
properly improving the quality of human life. Thus, the theme is compelling to
discuss from of PM&R perspective.
This event will be held for 5 days with various topics presented including:
technology, database and family preparation for the new era.
