AN ORDER FURTHER EXTENDING THE ENFORCEMENT OF THE MODIFIED

ENHANCED COMMUNITY QUARANTINE (MECQ) IN OTON
 
WHEREAS, on 20 May 2021, the Omnibus Guidelines on the Implementation of
Community Quarantine in the Philippines with Amendments was issued by the Inter-
Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF);

WHEREAS, on 28 July 2021, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte approved the

recommendation of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging
Infectious Diseases (IATF), retaining the ECQ classification of the Province of Iloilo until
07 August 2021;

WHEREAS, on 30 August 2021, Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr. issued Executive

Order No. 305-B, Series of 2021, AN ORDER FURTHER EXTENDING THE EFFECTIVITY
OF EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 305, SERIES OF 2021 FOR INTENSIFIED PREVENTION,
DETECTION, ISOLATION, TREATMENT AND REINTEGRATION UNDER MODIFIED
ENHANCED COMMUNITY QUARANTINE (MECQ) AND TO IMPLEMENT A
SOCIOECONOMIC RECOVERY PLAN IN THE PROVINCE OF ILOILO UNTIL 07
SEPTEMBER 2021;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, VICENTE. FLORES, Acting Mayor, Municipality of Oton, by

virtue of the powers and authority vested in me by law, do hereby order that:
 

I. That the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine is hereby extended until

07 September 2021 or until the IATF shall have issued the appropriate
resolution and the Province of Iloilo, the corresponding Executive Order;

II. All relevant national government issuances are hereby adopted by reference.
