While going from Bangalore, visit below places and plan night stay at

Chikkamagaluru.
- Belur (~225kms from Bangalore): Chennakesava Temple
- Halebeedu: Hoysaleswara temple and museum, Basadi Digambar Jain Temples,
Kedareshwara Temple
- Belavadi: Veeranarayana Swamy Temple. also known as Ekachakranagara
village. This is a land of rich historical references. The most excellent among
these is the Veeranarayana temple, which is a fine example of Hoysala architecture.
- I stayed at Emgee's Residency, MG Rd(08262 - 229016) – good budget hotel

Visit below places on 2nd day on a way to Baba budangiri Hills:


- Do try food at Siri Coffee
- Ratnagiri Bore
- Sitalayanagiri - water in the Shiva temple neither increases nor decreases,
very nearby Mullayanagiri peak
- Mullayanagiri peak - stands at 1930 meters and highest peak in Karnataka,
25kms from Chikmagalur
- Sagir Ahmed falls/Jhari water falls - need to walk 1 km
- Honnamanna Halla Water Falls
- Baba budan giri hills
- A cave having residence of Shri Dattatreya swamy and dargah of Muslim
saint Baba Budan
- Manikyadhara Falls - a route towards right side, ~4 km from cave
- A lake and a small temple - a route towards left side, ~4 km from
cave

If have one more day, visit:


- Coffee museum: 10am to 5pm, museum is closed on weekends
- Hiremagaluru: Kodanda Rama Temple - South India's 1st Rama Temple
- Ayyana kere: visit the lake for witnessing the beauty of nature on the
Agumbe and Sringeri Hills during sunrise and sunset
- Kemmanagundi
- Hebbe falls (excellent adventure and great falls). Hire a Jeep (INR
600 per jeep, can be shared between different tourists). Do not drive your car to
reach Hebbe falls.
- Kalhatti Falls
- Kalhathgiri Falls
- RajBhavan: Excellent place for the morning walks, sun rise and sun
sets. In fact, RajBhavan is the sun set point. Great view. Even if you are not
staying there, you can go and roam around.
- Rock/Rose Garden
- Z-point: adventurous route needs about a 4-5 kms leisure trek. Great
place to visit. There is a small waterfall(Shanti falls) on the way and you can
also enjoy sitting there.
- Jagara valley: Approx 16 kms. Ideal place for trek and adventure
loving people.
