Part 1

Friends are those whom we can trust. Before social media platforms, defining friends is simple.
For now, people from all over the world, start using social media websites and they start making
friends virtually.

Firstly, making friends online and in real life have many differences. People have different
behaviors and different reasons for using the internet, including Facebook, Instagram, and
Snapchat. Each platform has unsaid rules of how to use them. People upload photos and
statuses of their lives on social media in order of virtual communication. They can even be
friends without knowing in person on social media. But, in real life, friends are simple. They
know each other and they can choose who to trust. They can even share secrets and spend
time together.
Social media is dangerous. We cannot know who receives our personal information. We cannot
choose who to trust without knowing them in real life. From my point of view, I think real life
friends are better than social media friends. Even although there may be very few close friends,
it is safer than talking to a lot of people on the internet.
