 What is Asclepius?

• Asclepius is the task force unit of Rotaract

Apollo. It embodies 4 subunits.

Subunits :
> Public and mental health
> Sexual and reproductive health
> LGBTQIA+ & Gender education
> Human rights and ethics

• Each subunit deals with topics definitive to it.

 What does Asclepius do?

We at Asclepius believe that education and knowledge should

not be limited to books and hence want to explore ways to reach
our target.

It aims to educate and spread awareness to a medical & non-

medical audience through various activities.

It also organises and conducts multiple events which

promote health and impart necessary education.

Through Asclepius, we aim to stand against stigmas and

bring different perceptions into play by multiple means.

• Bridge between subunits and President

• Capacity building of members
 Unit Chair & Vice Chairs :

• Lead and manage the unit

• Recruit unit members

• Initiate ideas and concepts for different topics

and events

• Organise and conduct events along with the

unit members

• Bring to the notice of the Secretary of any

matters of conflict

• Co-ordinate with the Secretary
