Introduction:

In this proposal I present ways on how to encourage people to shop more in the town center,
because the numbers of people shopping in the town center has decreased.

Current situation: There could be many reasons why not to shop in the town center. One of the
reasons could be that, people find the same product with a better price elsewhere or the products
are not stylish enough (for nowadays trends).

Also now that many shops are closed due to COVID-19 a lot of people still want to shop and
now they tend to do it online. Here the problem could be that they can not figure out the website
that they are using and find another shop or do not shop at all.

Key needs to be addressed: There is no point in arguing that it is a serious problem and the city
suffers from it on many different levels. Previously mentioned reasons may push people away
and business suffers from it. Therefore it is proposed to take further mentioned
recommendations.

Recommendations:

My recommendations to the town council is to do the following:

-Really think through how to design the website. Important is to make the process as simple as
possible and stick to what people expect.

-Some of the products could use a makeover. When brands own their content, it shows, and it
draws people in
