tradition. Today, one's sense of acceptance and membership to a social group
is extremely essential, hence some people engage in body piercing in order to
feel accepted. People who have body piercings identify with a specific social
group. Pierced persons are seen as belonging to a specific social category in
our culture. It is clear that the media is creating a perception of this product.
It's important to remember that fashion is a mirror that reflects our culture's
