"MAKE YOUR BED"

The following essay talks about the conference of the admiral of the army of the
United States of North America William H. McRaven in which he makes a
contextualization in his history where he reflects the beginnings of his military
career where he makes understand the great change that he makes meaning the
work of being a military man, on the other hand he talks about the 10 lessons he
learned during his life that helped him and guided him to reach the point of being a
great admiral of the United States. The lessons were the following:

Get up every morning with the best disposition during military life, and the first thing
that is going to be done is to organize the bed to leave it in such a way as the norm
frames it, in the text he relates that it is such a simple act, this the He does it that
way to the lookout, according to Admiral William “If you make your bed every
morning you will have completed the first task of the day. It will give you a little
sense of pride and will encourage you to do another task and another and another.
At the end of the day, that completed task will have turned into many completed
tasks “this means that if one does things in the best way it may have been a
complicated day where things do not go the best way this little morning act will do
May you have the satisfaction of knowing that even if everything has gone wrong
you did only one thing in the best way and you will feel proud because of it.

On the other hand, another of his teachings through the analogy of the crew of a
boat is that if you want things to work in the best way you have to be accompanied
by a person who is shaking your hand and teaches or supports you to perform the
activities that you decide to carry out so that they go out satisfactorily and the
mission issued can be fulfilled, in addition, in his third teaching we can find that the
admiral wants us to reflect on the importance of knowing not to underestimate
people since although notThey are very big, intelligent or athletic, they may have
some capacity that is superior to yours, causing them to put themselves before
your abilities and causing confident people to swallow their words for the simple
fact of underestimating, that is to say, the moral is that to Although you have a lack
in your abilities, perhaps it is because you have not finished developing them yet.
And finally and the most important of this essay is If you want to change the world,
you must give your best in the darkest moment this last message implies that
although the night is very dark it must always dawn, that is to say that Even if
things are not getting in the best way, you should always give every last drop of
sweat and do it in the best way because you never know how your actions that
may not be valued by your superiors can have an impact on the life of someone
who really knows how to value them, making this a fundamental pillar that evokes
sacrifice and the continuous struggle to develop things with a vocation and in the
same way leave them done well so that other generations benefit from it.

In conclusion, the teachings issued by Admiral Williams are very important and
everyone who belongs to the military forces should apply it to their lives, in order to
adopt the lifestyle of a person with principles and values that were developed
because of much blood and sweat so that in this way they do not have to crash
with a harsh and sinister reality such as real life and likewise they can make their
lives in a satisfactory way and without any problem and that they have an excellent
military career full of love and vocation for the institution.
