The researchers utilized various statistical tools to analyze the data gathered from the
participants. The following statistical tools were chosen to display the descriptive data
obtained and establish the relationship between the data obtained. The mean and
standard deviation was used in order to determine the number of participants when
grouped by gender, age, year level, and school. Another statistical tool used was the
analysis of variance, which was used to see if there was a significant difference when
participants were grouped according to gender, age, year level, and school. The
Pearson r correlation was used to establish a relationship or association between
gender identity and factors Influencing Men Entering the Nursing Profession; lastly,
the Chi-square Test of Association was used to investigate if there was a significant
relationship the gender identity and male nursing students' perceptions of the nursing
profession.
