Character

- Tiger easily recognized by its coat of reddish-orange with dark stripes, the tiger is the largest wild cat in
the world. The big cat's tail is three feet long. On average the big cat weighs 450 pounds, about the
same as eight ten-year-old kids. Males have an average total length of 270 to 310 cm including the tail,
while females measure 240 to 265 cm on average. The weight of males ranges from 180 to 258 kg, while
that of the females ranges from 100 to 160 kg. It stands three feet tall with teeth four inches long and
claws as long as house keys.

2. Habitat

- Tigers existed throughout much of Eastern and Southern Asia, as well as in parts of Central and
Western Asia and the Middle East.
