“Will You Be My Valenswine?” by Teresa Bateman is one of my
favorite Valentine books. It’s great for teaching SO many concepts!
Rhyming, onomatopoeia, synonyms, word families, inferring, etc. The
next few pages include a text-to-self craftivity, writing template, and
a few different graphic organizers. I hope your kids enjoy making
their own little “Valenswine” as much as mine did!

For this little craftivity, you’ll need

two different shades of pink
paper. I used pink construction
paper and pink printer paper and
ran everything off on the
copier/risograph. Easy peasy!

Write about who you want to be your
Valentine and tell why.
