RATIONALE:

Consistent with our intent to comply with Executive Order No. 138, otherwise known as the Full
Devolution of Certain Functions of the Executive Branch to Local Governments, Creation of a Committee
on Devolution, and for other Purposes, the Local Government Unit of Lanuza has seen the need to
adequately prepare for the devolution in order to effectively carry out the transition and the
implementation for the sake and welfare of the general populace and the municipality as a whole.

The said orientation and workshop aims to provide an avenue to the key officials and employees of the
Local Government Unit of Lanuza to harmonize their plans and efforts to effectively implement the
devolution.

OBJECTIVES:

1. To orient the key officials and employees of the Local Government Unit of Lanuza on the
concept and implementation of Executive Order No. 138.
2. To adequately prepare for the devolution by devising and crafting a comprehensive Devolution
Transition Plan for the Municipality of Lanuza.

METHODOLOGY:

The said session will be a whole day activity dedicated for the key officials and employees to be oriented
on the concept and implementation of the Full Devolution to the LGU. The session will also be dedicated
for the crafting of the Devolution Transition Plan.
