AGRA - Agra Fort, Tajmahal, Fatepur Secri, Dayal Bagh, Akbar Samadhi

AGRA - is the one of the prominent destinations of the world tourism map with three heritage
monuments, The Taj Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri & Red Fort. It is more just a dacadent city of graveyards and
stones, but it is a vibrant centre of Culture, Art and Religious philosphies that have enriched mankind
and shaped humen thought over centuries. Agra is famous for handicrafts products such as Inley work on
Marvel, Leather work, Footwear, Brasswear, Carpets, Jwellery, Zari and Embroidery work

Agra Fort - This great monument dominating a bend in the river Yamuna was constructed by the
Emperor Akbar. The fort is crescent shaped, flattened on the east with a long, nearly straight wall facing
the river. The fort contains splendid mosques and palaces in red sandstone and white marble built by
two generations of creative builders during the time of Akbar.

Taj Mahal - the one and only one of its kind across the world. The monumental labour of love of a great
ruler for his beloved queen. The ultimate realisation of Emperor Shahjahan's dream. One of the wonders
of the world. It took 22 years to complete the enchanting mausoleum, on the banks of the Yamuna.

MATHURA-VRINDAVAN - Govinda Temple, Krishna birth place, Kansa Karagar,Nidhuvan

BRAJBHOOMI- the land where Shri Krishna was born and spent his youth, has today little towns and
hamlets that are still alive with the Krishna legend and still redolent with the music of his flute. Mathura,
a little town on the River Yamuna was transformed into a place of faith after Lord Krishna was born here.
Vrindavan, a village - once noted for its fragrant groves, is where he spent an eventful youth. There are
numerous other little spots in the area that still reverberate with the enchantment of Shri Krishna

GOVINDA TEMPLE - this temple was established by Haridas Swami. He discovered the Banke Bihari Deity
at Nidhivana, where Banke Bihari was originally worshiped. Banke Bihari was moved here when this
temple was constructed in 1864. This is the most popular temple in Vrindavana, especially in the month
of Sravana, during Jhulan Yatra.

DELHI - Qutub Minar, Lotus temple, India Gate, Shanti Sthal, Indira Vabhan, Kali Temple

Delhi -Capital to several empires in ancient India, Delhi was a major city in the old trade routes from
northwest India to the Gangetic Plains. Many ancient monuments, archaeological sites and remains of
national importance have been erected in its history.The Mughals built a section of the city (now known
as Old Delhi) that served as the capital of Mughal Empire for a long period. During the British Raj, New
Delhi was built as an administrative quarter of the city. New Delhi was declared the capital of India after
India gained independence from British rule in 1947.

Qutub Minar- Qutb-u'd-Din Aibak laid the foundation of Qutab Minar in AD 1199. The minar was said to
have been built to celebrate the victory of Mohammed Ghori, the invader from Afghanistan, over the
Rajputs in 1192.

Lotus Temple- is a very recent architectural marvel of the Bahai faith, located in Kalkaji, south of Delhi.
Shaped like a half opened Lotus flower, this temple is made of marble, cement, dolomite and sand.

India Gate- is a majestic high arch, 42 meters high, built as a memorial to the Indian soldiers killed in the
World War I. Beneath it burns an eternal flame. From the base of the arch one can get a good view of
the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

HARIDWAR-MUSSOURIE-DEHRADUN - Derhadun Lake, Lachman Jhoola and more

Haridwar literally means 'The gateway to the Gods'. It's the place where the river Ganga descends to the
plain. The Kumbha Mela, happening once every 12 years and the Ardha Kumbha Mela (Coming once
every six years) are big draws. Dehradun, main town of Garhwal and Uttaranchal , was earlier a huge
lake. Mussoorie, with its green hills and varied flora & fauna, is a facinating hill resort. Glittering views of
the Doon Valley & Shiwalik ranges in the south, the town presents a fairyland atmosphere. Mussoorie is
famous for its scenic beauty.

Sahasradhara - located 14 km from Dehradun, is famous for its natural beauty and medicinal value.
People come here in large numbers to enjoy the natural beauty and to bathe in the waterfall.

Laxman Jhoola-There was a hanging just rope bridge across river Ganga (without pillar) till 1889 which
was rebuilt with iron ropes in 1939.

Sapt Rishi Ashram - According to Hindu mythology, the seven sages or saptarishi were deep in meditation
here. The river Ganga did not want to disturb them and so split into seven different streams around
them known as Sapt Sarovar.
