Dear Mohawk collage,

I am Ali Abdel Hadi, born on January 22 nd, 1990 from Lebanon,

I graduated with BSN license from the Islamic University of Lebanon since 2013 and I work as a
registered nurse at Labib Medical Center.

The strongest part of my application, however, is my professional experience. I began my job directly
after graduation in medical surgical floor where I learned a great deal about the complexities and many
challenges faced by nurses. Main experiences I gain are being methodical and observant in my approach
to the subject and handle work pressure. I especially look forward to doing mental health and disability
management program. In addition I have dedicated a great deal of time to independent study in these
areas as well as always seeking greater levels of exposure at my hospital.

As with Middle East Society, Mental health has been an increasing public health concern, our ability and
capacity to provide adequate care to our mental disorder population has been drastically overrun by
increasing of their numbers in Lebanon that are in need of services. Very few individuals who
experienced any type of mental disorder had ever received any professional treatment. Thus, I want
eagerly to cultivate an active and enduring interest in all aspects of nursing care for mental disorder, so
that I will be in a position to make important contributions mental health to patients here in Lebanon.

On the personal level, I see myself a dedicated and motivated nurse who wants to study aboard to make
an advancement in my field. Besides, everyone is entitled to the highest standard of physical and mental
wellbeing, and I look forward to working in an environment, which allows me to create and sustain
outstanding health care services in a rapidly changing industry. As a health caregiver, I will be committed
to improving efficiency in health care facilities and the quality of the care provided in my organization.

After all, I am especially favorably impressed with mental health and disability program in the Mohawk
collage and I see it as the best fit for my interests in learning how to make my optimal contribution to
mental health cases in Lebanon. I look forward to the entire spectrum of studies in your curriculum, on
intervention Strategies Working with Disabilities, and with Mental Health and Disability Management
Field Placement Case Studies. I am convinced that by studying the complexities of disabilities and mental
disorder in Canada’s multicultural population and their health care system aspects, will help me broaden
my experience in how to make major contributions and influences to Lebanese employees’ career in the
future.

Finally, both my nursing education and my workplace are primarily English speaking environments.
Speaking English as a professional helps me to think of myself as a citizen of the world and I am keenly
looking forward to many multicultural experiences in Canada. I hope to become a role model for other
Lebanese employees and a highly proficient mentor to new generation of nursing students in my home
country.

Best regards
