STRATEGIES TO WRITE A
MEMORABLE SPEECH

INTRODUCTION
Regardless of the type of speech in question (improvised,
read, memorized or extempore) the preparation process is
the same. This process consists of four phases: the choice
of the topic, the documentation, the preparation of the
script and the practice.
01

THE CHOICE OF THE TOPIC

It is important to emphasize that the selection of the topic should
not be based on the ease that the speaker considers that it will
have to obtain information on a certain topic, but rather that to
choose a topic it is necessary to carry out a careful analysis and a
reflection of the purposes to be achieved.
02
DOCUMENTATION
It consists of the compilation of
bibliographic material that
forms the basis of the
preparation of the speech.
SCRIPT
PREPARATION
03
You have to define the main objective,
determine what is the most appropriate
way to get the message to the audience
and, finally, let the script be replaced in
order to be able to add the improvements
later with more clarity.
04
A good exhibition has to start from a
point to reach an end. The
SCRIPT elaboration of the script allows to
DEVELOPMENT trace that path from the relationships
established between the ideas.
