“My Unforgettable Teacher and the Lessons I Learned”

Being a student for almost 12 years I’ve encountered different types of teachers

with different kinds of ways in teaching. Each and everyone of them are close to my

heart and I am always very thankful to come across those kinds of teachers. They have

a big contribution to what I am today, may it be in values, education, skills, and traits.

Lucky enough I’ve never encountered a teacher where he or she didn’t impart me a

lesson, they always left me either knowledge of their own experiences or values that I

will surely bring with me as I go on with my own life and career.

However, there is this one particular teacher that I will never forget, she was one

of the English faculty back in my Junior Highschool years. She was a good teacher, she

is good at her craft, she knows and very passionate about her subject. During those

times, I was actually given the opportunity to host our Promenade, and she was the one

who asked me to do it. I respectfully declined because I wasn’t sure with my own

capabilities, not until she persuaded me and promised to teach me how to do it. At the

end, I hosted one of our biggest events in our Highschool years. She was by my side all

the time from preparing our script, and most importantly how she boosted my

confidence in speaking at the stage. Being a shy person that I am, that event redirected

me into becoming confident, brave, able to take challenges, and learn that we should

always accept any opportunities that are given by us because these will enable us to

move forward into becoming a great and remarkable person. If she hadn't done any of

that I think my student life wouldn't be what I am now. Hence, she was one of my

Unforgettable teachers that I had.
