1. The rst case is about cash balance determination, determine the balance to be reported as "cash" in ABC's
December 31, 20x1 Statement of Financial Position.
2. There are two requirements for the petty cash fund case. (1) Perform the cash count and complete the cash count
sheet provided; (2) Provide all the journal entries necessary, assuming that PCF was replenished on December 31, 20x1
and the custodian is accountable for any cash shortage and overage.
