LABOR REVIEW

 Social Justice – the law bends over backward to accommodate the interests of the working class
on the humane justification that those with less privilege in life should have more in law.

 “Social Justice calls for the humanization of laws and the equalization of social and economic
forces by the state so that justice, in its rational and objectively secular conception, may at
least be approximated.”

 ARTICLE 3, SEC. 18 (Protection-to-Labor Clause). The State affirms labor as a primary social
economic force. It shall protect the rights of the workers and promote their welfare. – it is often
invoked, along with Art. XIII Sec. 3, in resolving doubts or ambiguities in the interpretation of the
law, employment contracts, collective bargaining agreements and appreciation of evidence.
