In my opinion, Friends on social networking sites are not reliable. The first
reason, your online friends are people you've never met directly, it's hard to
know who they are and what they gonna with you. For instance, through social
networks, some people pretend to be military, doctors to deceive the feelings of
gullible women. The second reason is your online friends may use of your
personal information for some illegal purposes. For instance, they can use your
personal information to scam, impersonation to steal property from friends,
family, even your bank account. Finally, your online friends may be frauds
because what they share without evidence often isn’t true. In 2020, People's
Procuracy of Lang Son Province has settled four cases of phishing that
appropriated the property related to social networks, which is mainly the form
of gifts from abroad to demand remittances. In conclusion, It's hard to imagine
the consequences when your social friends are unreliable so be cautious when
you're friends.
