1. Why is self-awareness necessary as an employee in organizations?


Answer :
Because self-awareness is one of the important aspects in life, where we know how
to relate both to ourselves and to others. From this we know how to control our
reactions which will have a good impact on job satisfaction and our relationships
with other people.
2. What are the important components of self- awareness?
Answer :
An important component of self-awareness is our self-awareness of how we
represent how clearly we see our own values, passions, aspirations, fit with our
environment, reactions and self-awareness of how others perceive us.
3. What should individuals do to cultivate self-awareness?
Answer :
By understanding with one's own abilities, trying self-introspection but in the right
context, namely by increasing productive self-insight and decreasing unproductive
rumination, besides that we can also grow self-awareness by seeking out feedback
from loving critics — that is, people who have their best interests in mind and are
willing to tell them the truth.
4. How can organizations help cultivate self-awareness?
Answer :
Because in the organization we must interact with other people which helps us to
improve ourselves starting from internal self-awareness as well as external self-
awareness.
