THE DARKNESS OF LIFE

Some time ago there was a town where a very happy couple lived with their two
children, when they woke up they did so with great enthusiasm to live life and work to
get ahead. The father was a lumberjack who always used to leave his house very early
to go to a forest to cut down trees to collect firewood so he could sell it and get some
coins to take home. The mother always took care of her children, and cooking for when
her husband arrived he would have his food ready so that he could feed himself.

One day the father got up very early from his bed to return to his daily routine, the
mother got up together with him, I prepared something to eat for his departure, the
mother very kindly said goodbye to her husband, she gave him a kiss without knowing
what was going to happen. He very hastily went into the forest to cut down trees for
firewood, but suddenly he heard a loud noise coming from the other side of the forest,
curiously he went to see what was happening, he walked for a long time, but he could
not find anything and He kept hearing the noise, time was passing by when he saw
something behind a tree, he went to see it and suddenly it disappeared, no more was
heard from him.

The mother saw that it was already late and the husband did not return, she began to
worry, so she decided to go look for him, went into the forest but could not find him, the
wife shouted her husband's name looking for him but no one answered, she kept
walking but nothing, she returned home thinking that she was going to find her husband
but when he arrived he was not there, she worried she did not have dinner, she went to
bed but hoping that the next day her husband would arrive. The next day she woke up
and her husband was away, she went to look for her husband again, she even asked her
neighbors if someone had seen him but no one gave her a reason for him, the neighbors
saw the concern of the lady for what they helped him to to look for him, they went into
the forest to look for him, the day passed, but they did not find a trace of the wife's
husband when a man yelled to go where he was, he had found the ax with which the
man worked, the woman She knelt and cried incessantly without knowing what
happened to her husband, the neighbors stood her up and took her home and she would
not stop crying, the neighbors tried and tried to reassure her but they could not do
anything about the sadness of the lady They simply saw the despair and concern of the
lady, they told her to calm down they would do everything possible to find the man but
she did not calm down, suddenly her children came down and asked their mother what
was the reason why r what she was crying, she only replied that nothing was just about
her and that it was going to happen to her, the children again went up to her room
without knowing what was happening, her neighbors left and she was left alone without
knowing what to do, she just cried and fell asleep.

The days went by and the mother was calming down for the sake of her children so that
they did not find out what was happening, one afternoon one of her children came down
from her room and looked at her mother and asked her where is dad, her The mother
only replied that her husband had gone on a long trip and that she did not know when he
would return, the days passed and there was more anguish, the children kept asking
when their father would return and the mother answered them the same.

One day the mother saw that she no longer had food for the children, the resources were
running out little by little, she began to despair, or that he led her to find a way to get
ahead, she started looking for work, she went from house to house, but the vast majority
rejected him, returning home tired and crying so he couldn't find a job, he cooked for
his children and went to rest, thinking and thinking until he fell asleep.

It had already been 20 years since her husband disappeared and 5 years since her son
went to the city to continue his studies, her youngest son was already finishing school.
The lady was very happy that her eldest son was already going to return to her town, her
effort and everything she suffered was not in vain.

The day that everyone expected came, her eldest son arrived and she ran and hugged her
son, she said:

At last my son you are at home, you are already a professional I love you very much.
The young man was filled with tears and he hugged and kissed her, repeating your
effort, but it was in vain, Mom, I apologize for the bad times I put you through; the
mother forgave him and even made a small party for her son to receive him.

After a while someone knocked on the door and the mother opened it and saw a
beautiful young woman carrying a baby in her arms the mother asked who she was
looking for and the young woman described her eldest son, he came out and exclaimed:
Mother, I present to you my fiancee and my little one, I wanted to give you this
surprise, she was filled with joy and raised the little one, the young man how much
happiness he saw in his mother after so long he did not see her like that.

It was then that the mother asked her what would be the date of her wedding, and they
gave her a date, she began to organize many things for her son and daughter-in-law,
since for the first time one of her children was already starting a family.

The expected day came, her son was going to marry the person that the lady loved the
most. She blessed them and they left their house in the direction of a church that was in
the town. They arrived, they entered and the priest was waiting for them, the mother and
brother of the young man and the bride's entire family met, for a moment the youngest
son felt uncomfortable since he never knew what happened with his father and the
girlfriend of course were present his two parents, he left the church went to an alley and
cried because he knew that his father loved them a lot. After a while he went back in
and several minutes passed, his older brother had already married. They left there and
went to his house where a wedding banquet was organized.

It was all over, the mother went to rest, the youngest son did the same but the eldest had
bought a house down the street from his mother and retired with his wife to sleep.

The next day someone knocked on the door and the youngest son came out, opened the
door and when he saw the person who was outside, he was surprised, he was left
speechless, it was his father who had been missing for so long he had disappeared, when
the mother came out crying because she had taken her husband as dead, the passage to
the house sat down to talk while the younger brother went to look for his older brother.

A while later the brothers arrived together, the mother was sitting crying asking for
explanations as it is that she was missing so long and why she did not return, the same
asked the children, she told her story:

The time I went to cut down trees for firewood, I heard a very loud noise that came
from the depths of the forest, that noise sounded like a human, I went to see what was
happening but I did not find it, I kept looking when I felt that something pushed me to A
river hit me and I lost consciousness, a family found me, helped me, they took me to a
hospital where I was asleep for so long without being able to wake up but when the
moment came I woke up an eternity had passed, I did not know what happened to my
family, I cried for a long time but now I find them and I see that they are fine.

The man knelt, cried in front of his wife and children, he tirelessly asked for
forgiveness, the lady took him by the hand and put him on his feet and told him that she
forgave him, but that she also suffered a lot to see her children study that Have the best
that I even endure abuse, but despite that, I continued on, I forgive you because I
believe in you, I see that you have also suffered, the young people simply cried at his
side, they hugged their father and mother saying we are finally together.

A few years passed, life smiled well for the family, both young people were already
professionals, they never imagined that after every storm happiness comes, and that life
has obstacles but that you can get ahead with effort and dedication.
 LA OSCURIDAD DE LA VIDA

Un tiempo atrás existía un pueblo donde vivía una pareja muy feliz con sus dos hijos,
ellos cuando despertaban lo hacían con un gran entusiasmo de vivir la vida y trabajar
para salir adelante. El padre era un leñador que siempre solía salir de su casa muy
temprano para ir a un bosque a talar árboles para recolectar leña y así poder venderla y
conseguir algunas monedas para llevar a casa. La madre siempre se ocupaba de sus
hijos, y de cocinar para cuando llegase su esposo tenga listo su comida para que así él
pueda alimentarse.

Cierto día el padre se levantó muy temprano de su cama para volver a su rutina diaria, la
madre se levantó junto con él, le preparo algo de comer para su ida, la madre muy
amablemente se despido de su esposo le dio un beso sin saber lo que iba a pasar. El muy
apresuradamente se internó en el bosque para talar árboles para la leña, pero de pronto
escucho un fuerte ruido que venía del otro lado del bosque, curiosamente él fue a ver lo
que pasaba, camino por un largo rato, pero no encontraba nada y seguía escuchando el
ruido, el tiempo iba pasando se hacía tarde cuando vio algo detrás de un árbol fue a ver
y de pronto desapareció no se supo más de él.

La madre vio que ya era tarde y el esposo no regresaba empezó a preocuparse, entonces
decidió ir a buscarlo, se adentró en el bosque pero no lo encontraba, la esposa gritaba a
viva voz el nombre de su esposo buscándolo pero nadie respondía, seguía caminando
pero nada, retorno a su casa pensando que iba a encontrar a su esposo pero al llegar él
no estaba, ella preocupada no ceno, se fue acostar a su cama pero con la esperanza que
al otro día su esposo iba a llegar. Al día siguiente ella despertó y su esposo no estaba,
fue a buscar a su esposo nuevamente incluso preguntaba a sus vecinos si alguien lo
había visto pero nadie le daba razón de él, los vecinos vieron la preocupación de la
señora por lo que le ayudaron a buscarlo, se adentraron en el bosque para buscarlo, el
día transcurría, pero no encontraban ni un rastro del esposo de la señora cuando un
señor grito que fueran hacia donde estaba el, había encontrado el hacha con la cual el
señor trabajaba, la señora se arrodillo y lloro incesablemente sin saber que le paso a su
esposo, lo vecinos la pusieron de pie y la llevaron a su casa y ella no paraba de llorar,
los vecinos trataban y traban de tranquilizarla pero no podían hacer nada con la tristeza
de la señora simplemente veían la desesperación y preocupación de la señora, le decían
que se tranquilice ellos harían lo posible por encontrar al señor pero no se calmaba, de
pronto bajaron sus hijos y le preguntaron a su mamá cual era el motivo por lo que ella
lloraba solo les respondió que nada simplemente cosas de ella y que ya le iba a pasar,
los niños nuevamente subieron a su cuarto sin saber lo que pasaba, sus vecinos se
retiraron y ella se quedó sola sin saber que hacer simplemente lloro y se quedó dormida.

Los días fueron pasando y la madre se iba tranquilizando por el bien de sus hijos para
que no se enterasen de lo que estaba sucediendo, una tarde uno de sus hijos bajo de su
cuarto miro fijamente a su madre y le pregunto donde esta papá, la madre solo le
respondió que su esposo había ido a un viaje largo y que no sabía cuándo iba a regresar,
los días pasaban y más angustia había los niños seguían preguntado cuando regresaría
su padre y la madre les contestaba lo mismo.

Un día la madre vio que ya no tenía comida para los niños los recursos se iban acabando
poco a poco, empezó a desesperarse, o que la llevo a buscar la manera de poder salir
adelante, empezó a buscar trabajo, iba de casa en casa, pero la gran mayoría lo
rechazaban retorno a su casa cansada y llorando por lo que no consiguió trabajo, cocino
para sus hijos y se fue a descansar, pensaba y pensaba hasta que se quedó dormida.

Ya había pasado 20 años desde que su esposo desaparición y 5 años desde que su hijo se
fue a la ciudad a continuar sus estudios, su hijo menor ya estaba por terminar la escuela.
La señora estaba muy alegre por lo que su hijo mayor ya iba a retornar a su pueblo, su
esfuerzo y todo lo que ella sufrió no fue en vano.
Llego e día que todos esperaban llego su hijo mayor y ella corrió y abrazo a su hijo, le
dijo:
Por fin hijo mío ya estás en casa, ya eres todo un profesional te amo mucho. El joven se
lleno de lagrimas y los mismo hizo el abrazo y la beso repitiéndole tu esfuerzo un fue en
vano mamá, te pido perdón por los malos momentos que te hice pasar; la madre le
perdono e incluso le hizo una pequeña fiesta a su hijo para recibirlo.
Al rato alguien toco la puerta y salió la mamá abrió y vio una hermosa joven cargando
en brazos un bebe la madre pregunto a quien buscaba y la joven describió a su hijo
mayor, el salió y le exclamo:
Madre te presento a mi prometida y mi pequeño, te quería dar esta sorpresa, ella
se llenó de alegría alzo al pequeño, el joven cuanta felicidad veía en su madre después
de tanto tiempo no la veía así.
Fue entonces que la madre le pregunto cual seria la fecha de su boda, y ellos le dieron
una fecha, ella empezó a organizar muchas cosas para su hijo y su nuera, ya que por
primera vez uno de sus hijos ya estaba formando una familia.
Llego el día esperado su hijo se iba a casar con la persona que mas amaba la señora los
bendijo y salieron de su casa con rumbo a una iglesia que quedaba en el pueblo.
Llegaron entraron y les esperaba ya el cura, se reunieron la madre y hermano del joven
y de la novia toda su familia, por un momento el hijo menor se sintió incomodo ya que
nuca supo que pasó con su padre y la novia por supuesto estaban presentes sus dos
padres, el salió de la iglesia fue a un callejón y lloro porque él sabía que su padre los
amaba bastante. Después de rato volvió a ingresar y pasaron varios minutos, su hermano
mayor ya se había casado. Salieron de allí fueron con dirección a su casa donde se
organizo un banquete por la boda.
Todo acabo la madre se fue a descansar, hijo menor hizo lo mismo pero el mayor había
comprado una casa por la misma calle de su madre se retiro con su esposa a dormir.
Al día siguiente alguien llamo a la puerta y el hijo menor salió, abrió la puerta y al ver a
la persona que estaba fuera se quedó sorprendido, se quedó sin palabras, era el su padre
quien estaba desaparecido desde hace tanto tiempo había desaparecido, cuando la madre
salió grito porque ella lo había tomado como muerto a su esposo, el paso a la casa se
sentó a conversar mientras eso el hermano menor fue a buscar a su hermano mayor.
Al rato después los hermanos llegaron juntos, la madre estaba sentada llorando
pidiéndole explicaciones como es que estuvo desaparecido tanto tiempo y porque no
volvió, lo mismo le preguntaron los hijos, el conto su historia:
La vez que fui a talar árboles para leña, escuche un ruido bien fuerte que venía
de lo mas profundo del bosque, ese ruido parecía de un humano, fui a ver lo que pasaba
pero no lo encontré seguía buscando cuando sentí que algo me empujó a un río, me
golpee y perdí la conciencia, una familia me encontró me ayudo, me llevaron a un
hospital donde estuve tanto tiempo dormido sin poder despertar pero cuando llego el
momento desperté había pasado una eternidad, no sabía de mi familia que les paso, llore
por un largo tiempo pero ahora los encuentro y veo que están bien.
El señor se arrodillo, lloro delante de su esposa y de sus hijos pedía perdón
incansablemente, la señora lo tomo de la mano lo puso de pie y le dijo que lo
perdonaba, pero que también ella sufrió mucho para ver a sus hijos que estudien que
tengan lo mejor que incluso aguanto maltratos, pero pese a eso siguió adelante, te
perdono porque creo en ti veo que también has sufrido, los jóvenes simplemente
lloraron a su lado abrazaron a su padre y a su madre diciendo por fin estamos juntos.
Pasaron unos años, la vida le sonreía bien a la familia, ambos jóvenes ya eran
profesionales, nunca se imaginaron que después de cada tormenta viene la felicidad, y
que la vida tiene obstáculos pero que se puede salir adelante con esfuerzo y con
dedicación.
