After an Implementation Project is created and customized (if necessary), to get the right list
of setup tasks, implementers will assign those tasks to the appropriate functional users
(who, in turn, will enter setup data) and specify due dates. Afterward, the implementers will
continue to manage and monitor the assignments over the course of the implementation
project.
Assignment Due Dates
When users are assigned to tasks, specifying due dates are optional but strongly
recommended. The due dates help implementers to monitor the progress of the assignments,
which in turn will determine the progress of the overall implementation project.

Assigning Single or Multiple Users
A single user or multiple users can be assigned to a Task. If multiple users are assigned, then
the same due date can be assigned to all of them or each assigned user could have a
different due date.
date Each individual assigned user will be able to perform the task independent
of the other assigned users.
Assigning Users to Task Lists
If users are assigned to a Task List, those users will be assigned to all Tasks in all
subsequent levels of the Task List.
Reassigning Tasks to a Different User
Any and all tasks assigned to a particular user can be reassigned to a different user if needed.
needed
When reassigning, a new due date can be specified if desired.
Assigning Additional Users
If additional users are needed to be assigned to a task that already has other users assigned
to it, then implementers can select those tasks from the task hierarchy of an Implementation
Project and assign to more users.

• Implementers will monitor user assignments from the Implementation Projects tab of
the Overview page, which is the landing page in the Setup and Maintenance work area.

What Are the Assignment Statuses?
The available statuses are:
• Not Started
• In Progress
• Completed
• Execution Frozen
• Submitted
• Completed with Errors
• Completed with Warnings
Assignments by Due Dates
This is a column graph that shows the number of assignments with due dates in various
predefined time periods. Each column is further broken down in stacks representing different
task statuses within a specific time period.
What Are the Predefined Periods for the Due Dates?
FSM uses the following set of predefined due date periods:
• Past Due – Any Due Date older than this week
• This week
• Next week
• In 3 weeks
• In 4 weeks
• None – Without a specified due date
The due date of a task assignment is compared with today’s date to determine which time
period a task falls into.
Assignments by Task Lists
This stacked column graphs shows the total number of tasks as columns for each of the task
list in an Implementation Project. This includes Tasks from all subsequent children levels of
the Task List. Each column is further broken down by Task Status, which represents the
stacks in a column. Because the Task Lists are organized in a hierarchy in an Implementation
Project, the graph displays only the top nodes of an Implementation Project at first. Users can
drill down on each graph to view the next-level details.
