them relieve pressure from outside work.

P6 Communicate appropriate recommendations as a result of research and

data analysis to draw valid and meaningful conclusions.
1. Recommendations for the project.

Issue 1 - Project took longer than expected

Cause: The stages in the venture didn't finish on schedule because of issues while working as
information was lost because of outside factors, the staff accountable for the work in the task couldn't
keep on working. Individual reasons cause periods of the task to be deferred and incapable to be
finished as planned.

P a g e | 11
Proposal: Reviewing project necessities smooth out activities and ascertain costs in like manner,
possibility arranging is needed to secure basic reports and limit chances while work. Gain from
comparative ventures.

Issue 2 - Change in organization and operation.

Causes: Inconsistent methods of working in the venture group captain to clashes and resistance.
Undertaking the board in an obsolete, ineffectual heading. Because of the intricacy and inventive
character of IoT arrangements, organizations need to have an agreement from equipment to
programming.

Proposal: Ensure the board in a cutting edge bearing, early bring together undertakings and methods
of working, handle better approaches for working among divisions, and present nimble cycles..

2. Conclusion.

Cities will fundamentally take human needs higher and with the advancement of technology, human
entertainment is taken to a new level. Developers have researched and launched an entertainment
product applying IoT technology to be used at home for the residents. Now residents can not only
enjoy outside but also use in their own homes. Even in today's epidemic season, when going on the
street is becoming limited for everyone, home entertainment is a breakthrough step for everyone.
This project is launched after surveying and interviewing people to find out the needs and suggestions
about the project's products. This helps the project to stick to the needs of the user to bring out the
most suitable functions. The commitment applied to the project has made users more confident in the
product and used in the future.

P7 Reflect on the value of undertaking the research to meet stated

objectives and own learning and performance
1. Lessons learnt

1.1. Thorough initial investment planning.

P a g e | 12
So, how can developers’s time be most profitably spent? Research suggests feedback is top of the list
and, for me at least, this is closely followed by absolute clarity on what, exactly, teammates need to
learn. Instead of planning individual lessons, I want to invest my time in medium term planning to
break down the skills and knowledge they will need to learn to arrive at their destination. And as for
feedback, there may all sorts of really efficient ways to give feedback during lessons, but for me
nothing beats marking their books. Sitting on a pile of unmarked work for weeks is useless though – to
have impact it needs turning around as quickly as possible. If I can set up lessons so that I’m marking
while the students work then so much the better. But when that’s not possible I need to make sure
that whatever time I have available is time spent marking.

1.2. Remember that there are life cycle costs.

Don't forget to factor in the lifetime running costs of each product or system that will be connected to
the cloud. To decrease the costs of project, the developer should be remember the life cycle and
spend at least money on some works unimportant. In my experience significant inefficiencies come
from the fact that plan targets of various teammate (initiation, make a plan, etc.) should be integrated,
and sharing a common view. That is more or less like having a single company but running it as several
different ones. Over time, I’ve surely seen progress. Today, most of the companies have some
processes in place to try to keep plans and budgets if not fully aligned at least “coherent” and there
are virtuous ones that use the same Planning & Budgeting platform to implement processes across
departments, gaining a sense of “integrated by design”.

1.3. Make sure you have a contingency plan for your project.

Save data to another storage to avoid losing data from nature desease, like the system have error ,etc.
Because of the importance of the data of users, that’s why it need to be protected as much as possible
by the developers. A contingency plan reveals if you are prepared to respond to a challenge and the
steps you are likely to take. When things are out of your control, having a plan in place can give you a
head start on developing new ways to pull your business forward.

We have all learned what it means to adjust radically when the unforeseen confronts us. Now, we
have the knowledge of what can happen and how we must adjust our personal and professional lives

P a g e | 13
to meet a crisis. Developing a contingency plan is prudent and necessary to succeed in good times and
bad. It is a lesson learned in 2020 that we will not soon forget.

1.4. Get the attention of all teams in the project to establish technical requirements.

Get your work done well prior to beginning with the procedure. The specialized piece of an IoT
arrangement should be based on the necessities of partners. So converse with your group to recognize
the need in any case. Ensure you have a decent comprehension of what sort of information you need
to gather to meet your venture objectives. At that point discover sellers who can supply those
segments to satisfy your prerequisites.

1.5. Complex technology requires skill.

IoT production is slowed by technical issues and limitations. IoT solutions can be very complicated. To
ensure that the staff can effectively handle IoT solutions, ensure that you have internal capabilities or
employ outsourced experts.

2. Logbook

Name: Luong Quoc Vu

Project title: IoT Multi-Audio entertainment
Date: 11/1/2021 – 11/3/2021
Update on weekly research/tasks achieved
I have completed the steps for project management such as project planning, cost estimation, data
collection, data analysis, and report writing. All tasks were completed and the project was on track
with the original orientation. In project activities, the schedule and a number of tasks have been
changed to suit project requirements.
Any risks and/or issues identified?
Risks identified in the project:
Cost risk: Project costs escalate due to poor accuracy and range of cost estimates.
Schedule risk: The risk that activities will take longer than expected.
Risk of human resources due to lack of people with the necessary skills for the project.
Problems encountered
Project management issues:
- Failure to prioritize tasks makes project phases ambiguous and difficult to manage.
P a g e | 14
- Do not interact frequently with project team members.
- Don't use Project Management tools.
Solution:
- It is important to clarify from the outset what priority tasks are, and notify the project team as
soon as there is a change in the priority level.
- There should be a regular meeting schedule with a list of specific attendees and people involved
in the project.
- Need to know how to use tools to grasp implementation situation, work deadlines, identify
opportunities, increase efficiency and eliminate problems that are likely to arise in the future.
New ideas and change of project direction
I find it helpful to complete tasks. It became easier and faster to solve the tasks, I saved a lot of time
when analyzing data for the project. I think this learning style can be applied to the future because it
greatly improves working skills in project management.
Tasks planned for next week
The priority tasks are:
- Cost estimate
- Contingency planning
- Data collection
- Data analysis
- Write a report
We have scheduled and timed appropriately to ensure that important tasks will be distributed
evenly while operating the project.
Project plan status to date: behind

3. Personal performance review

Performance Review
 The project includes planning the implementation of analysis, evaluation, data collection and
reporting on the research and evaluation of an IoT-based entertainment system. Through that it
is possible to build a complete system and apply in practice.
 The project has been successful compared to its goals. The original project's goal was to
P a g e | 15
research and analyze an entertainment at home monitoring system to benefit human lives.
During project management, we do surveys and interviews with random people and gather a lot
of opinions showing that a lot of people are interested and wishing for a similar system in
practice.
 I think the best execution on that project and the scheduling and cost estimation. Most of the
work in each phase was on the right track and completed on schedule, making managing the
project phases easy and not taking too much time. In addition, creating a contingency plan from
the beginning helps us not to face too many problems when facing the problems occurring in
the project.
 Problems in the project such as Scope creeps and lack of interaction between project team
members. We addressed them by removing unnecessary requests, threatening project progress,
and creating a regular meeting schedule with a list of specific participants to report results
throughout. The working process unifies the issues in the project so that everything is easy to
follow.
 Through this project I learned the steps to planning and how to manage a project, how to use
tools for better management.
 The performance I have achieved on this project is quite acceptable. I will try to improve my
management skills and do better in the next projects.
 The strong point is building a suitable schedule for the project. The weakness is the lack of strict
management of the people inside the project, the lack of good interaction between the city
members, the lack of training in working skills and the use of appropriate tools.
 This can help me gain more work and management experience. It helps a lot for my future work
development.
