at work. She is using a
computer to check her
e-mail.
Irma works for a large company in
Dallas, Texas. The company makes
office furniture. Irma is a
salesperson. She sells office
furniture to retail stores in Texas.
Irma makes $45,500 a year. The
company also pays for her health
insurance. Irma got her job because
she is good with people and good
with computers.
When she came to the United
States from El Salvador, Irma took
classes to learn English. Then she
took computer classes. The classes
were easy and fun.
