Data gathering procedure

The gathering of data is expected to begin in December 2021 and end in

January 2022, as scheduled. A survey was undertaken on the youth
population in Barangay Trancoville, Baguio City, prior to distributing
questionnaires to the respondents. Having discussed the matter with
representatives from the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Trancoville,
the researcher is now in a position to make a formal request for
authorization to collect data in this Barangay on the researchers'
behalf. After obtaining permission from the Barangay officials of
Trancoville, Baguio City, the researchers were able to distribute
questionnaires to youth between the ages of 15 to 30 in order to
assess their levels of participation in civic engagement and their
perceptions of the implementation of Kabataan Kontra Droga at
Terrorismo at the barangay level in Barangay Trancoville.

In addition, it is advised that the questionnaire be made available

online in order to remove any impediments to completion of the survey.
For this purpose, our researchers may engage followers of the
Trancoville Barangay, Baguio City Facebook page and ask if they would
be willing to undertake the survey questionnaire, which was created
using Google Forms and must be completed by all respondent. To
conclude, in order to aid in the reduction of the threat posed by the
COVID-19 pandemic, researchers should conduct interviews on an
occasional basis, with the date of the interview being determined by
the respondents' availability on that particular day if additional
information is required to further the research results.
