My Take Away from the Message

The Scripture passage we tackled is 2 Peter Chapter 3

I have learned about the 2 Peter chapter 3, which focuses on dismantling the arguments of the false
teachers. This is to urge us not to waiver in our faith but to continue in the truth. This book also reminds
us that judgment will eventually come, and Christ will return. This shows us, Christians, how we should
live right now knowing that this place is just temporary and our permanent residence is in heaven. With
this, we should be less materialistic and focus on the spiritual things; and live a life of holiness and
godliness, with the word of God as our guide. Doing this while waiting for God's promises will give us
peace of mind and confidence in God; in facing various trials. For we know God has a purpose in our lives.
