My Take Away from the Message

The Scripture passage we tackled is 1Peter 5. I have learned that in order to be a mature Christian, we
should learn the basics and be disciplined. First of all, we should be submissive to our elders. This is a good
lesson because most younger people are more aggressive and what to lead at once. This can cause
misunderstandings in the church leading us away from having unity and having one mind in church.
Secondly, we should humble ourselves to the Lord. We should see that everything that we have is from
the Lord. And we cannot boast about anything because it's only by His grace that anything happens. Lastly,
we should trust in God. Even though there may be trials in life that we might encounter, we should always
trust God. God is always there and he will lead you through the storms of life and He is our light and the
source of hope that brings us joy in times of sorrow and the pillar of Faith that we can hold on to.

My experience in this religious activity is BLESSED because I see the blessings the Lord has given me
and I can see the effects of God’s wisdom in relation to my life and my environment.
