STRENGTHENING THE NATIONAL INSIGHT OF THE YOUNGER GENERATION THROUGH TADARUS ACTIVITIES

But actually strengthening national insight for the younger generation can be through the
community, one of which is the Asian African Reading Club community with the main activity
being book tadarus.

This study aims to explore and analyze book tadarus activities in strengthening national insight
for the younger generation

The findings of this study indicate that the book study activity can strengthen national insight for
the younger generation, this is because the books read on the theme of nationality and the
strength of the resource persons in discussing topics that have been read by the participants of the
book study.

The problem of national insight that occurs in the current era, if left unaccompanied by efforts to
reaffirm national insight, the Indonesian nation will lose its national identity and existence at the
international level and there will be no peaceful coexistence in the life of society, nation and
state.

Today, to strengthen national insight for the younger generation, it is still focused on formal
education through Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) subjects.

Method To obtain data, a qualitative research approach was used with a case study research
method because it relates to ongoing events and relates to current conditions.

The importance of understanding national insight for the younger generation will have
implications for the existence of the country in the future, the progress and retreat of a country,
and the spirit of the life of the nation and state.
