DO YA HEAR THAT? - Listening Exercise

Approximate time: 20 minutes

After the vocabulary boost, you will hear a woman talking about staycations.
Listen to the words matched in context and then answer the comprehension
questions:

- Why does the woman mention the period of 2007-2010?

- What 3 words are used to make up staycations, holistays, stolidays?
- What is out of the question for most people during economic
downturns?
- Name 2 benefits of staycations that are mentioned.
- Why are some people not suited for a staycation?

TIME TO KAHOOT! - Interactive Game

We are going to play a game to practice grammar topics.
