3. You must show all work using the methods taught in this course to receive points. Solving
the problems using any other method will receive zero point.
4. Write your final solutions neatly starting each problem on a new page. State your
assumptions clearly and show every step of the calculation. All the necessary steps required
for deriving a set of equations (ready to solve) should be shown.
5. Upload the solution by the deadline and name it as: QZ4_netid (use your netid, not UIN).
6. Remember to upload a high-quality scan (PDF file, no photo) to Blackboard. If your work
cannot be easily read, it will not be graded.

Problem.
Consider the data points (2,2), (4,6), (7,3), and (10,5),
a) Find the equation for the parametric cubic spline for the given data points.
b) Determine the equation for the Bezier curve for the given data points.
