1. Describe Penelope as wife and Odysseus as king and a warrior

Penelope is representing women who are faithful to their husband no matter the situation
,Over twenty years when her husband had gone to war, she remained loyal and had faith
that her husband will return, These character traits show Penelope to be considered an
ideal loyal Greek wife, as her characteristics that are shown throughout the story

Odysseus has the defining character traits of a Homeric leader, strength, courage,
nobility, a thirst for glory, and confidence in his authority. , he is most renowned for his
cunning because of his clever and quick mind  

2. Did Odysseus involuntary joined the war at Troy? Explain (10 points)

Yes, Odysseus was obliged to join the Trojan expedition something he didn't want to,
since he was more than happy alongside his wife, Penelope, and his newborn son,

3. What were the tests that Penelope gave to her suitors and why did she had chosen
those tests? (10 points)
The test was that Penelope says that she will marry whichever suitor can string the bow
and then shoot an arrow through 12 axe handles because only Odysseus can do that
because he is much stronger than any of the suitors.
4. What is the symbol of the rooted bed to Penelope and Odysseus? (10 points)

The great rooted bed in the Odyssey symbolizes the strength of Odysseus and
Penelope marriage and the bond they have between. The bed has withstood everything
thrown at it as did Odysseus and Penelope. Their marriage is strong like an olive tree.
