humankind. In a way, you will make a timeline of philosophical traditions of Ancient Greek  and other
Western civilizations, the Middle East, India, China and Japan. The timeline will help you  recognize the
original influences of your philosophical conceptions today.

Western Philosophy - by which we usually mean everything apart from the Eastern Philosophy of China,
India, Japan, Persia, etc - really began in Ancient Greece in about the 6th Century B.C. Thales of Miletus
is usually considered the first proper philosopher, although he was just as concerned with natural
philosophy

2. In which era were the most number of philosophical records produced? From what area or 
country? How about the least? 
3. Compare and contrast the country the contribution of each area or country in the formulation of
