Module 2- Lesson 4 September 22, 2021
NUTSHELL:
In defining one’s life it pertains on how we will perceive, the way we interact,
decided, and even support anyone. But this is more so in the basis of policies and laws
implemented in the certain place. Based on the laws enacted, they also have the provisions for
the education of youth, that no one should derive nor abuse in the rights of them to take a free
education. In the part of our special students who are battling with their physical disturbances
and mental retardation, we cannot leave behind this child. That is why we fully supported who
they are and embrace their special features, it is evident why we build schools for these
students continuously adjust the program, curriculum, and methodologies for them to really fit in
the system and learn like normal child’s do.
What the students have today is a blessing to prosper, because as years passed by, the
education going upwards, molding the system, adapting the best instructions, adjustments to
the curriculum are made, to fully maximize and cater ALL student’s despite of their mental,
physical, social, and emotional features. The government has doing everything they can to join
the global applications about the present education, so we should also have the responsibility
on our shoulder, as we are giving the best and quality education for all, we should eb able to
open our eyes for the truth, we are diversified, and we are different, but this does not make us
be LESS human. What is being “less” nowadays is the continual discrimination and abused that
experience also by these students due to them in capabilities to do something that a normal
student does.
In differences comes uniqueness this is the beauty of education; we are getting to know
each broadly and have a deeper understanding about our differences. Inclusive education is the
best avenue to defy the principle of differences and turns it into acceptance that will provide
each learner an environment full of knowledge, care and love without limitating the freedom to
enjoy the beauty of education.
Guide Questions
1. Explain the guiding principles in the implementation of inclusive education
We cannot deny the fact, that support system is the one we really need through
the applied intervention and support form out family and friends we have ethe
motivation to go in through. For instance, a child could grow with the support of
their parents if they do lead the interaction and explorations to the social context,
giving the things that will improve their Sens monitor aspects. And interventions
that best suits the child interest.
The transition and sustainable programs are a way to really start change that
being different is not the hindrance to receive education, that the government is
really making necessary adjustments to promote cultural sensitivity and social
awareness. These is one of the milestones of how this marginalized student can
acquire power and motivate to surpass their limits.
APPLY: Cite at least one situation demonstrating the use of any of the principles in
inclusive education
The role of parents and their responsibility in to his or her child is it think the first step before any
engagement that will happen in institutions. We believe that parents are second parents at home, so
they have also the responsible to send their children in school and be accountable in supporting his child
in engaging with other peers.
The demonstration shows that a mom teaching her child to be familiar in sign language. Little do
we now, that this child cannot talk properly also. So, seeing it visually can relieve the stress of being
different and proper guidance and support of a parent should be the fist thing to do before se ending
these students at school. By this learning sign languages would be beneficial to communicate and more
so a motivation to child to be on her toes and engage with peers. They should feel first the love of their
parents by this they can conquer, and they are empowered to undergo in general classroom settings.
NUTSHELL: Explain this picture in relation to our discussion.
1. Exclusion is when the marginalized students is TOTALLY EXCLUDE because of he or she is disable
2. Separation is when marginalized students are SEPRATED but there is certain program for them
to take.
3. Integration is when marginalized students are JOIN but need ADJUSTMENTS not in the part of
the institution but in the part of these students who are join an integrated school
4. Inclusion is when normal and special students are ‘JOINING TOGETHER because there is a
curriculum that provided with them at the same time they’re interacting with the peers in
general classroom.
