10. Creative writing: Imagine another “Talking Head” piece as seen from the point
of view of the deceased’s daughter:

- Give a stage direction describing the setting, the props and costume, the actor’s
attitude and tone.
- The daughter, using the first person, tells the audience about the funeral and how she
perceived it, seeing Miss Ruddock at the funeral. She comments about Miss
Ruddock’s presence. She mentions receiving Miss Ruddock’s letter and her reaction to
the letter… Remember to use the information about the deceased given in the extract
you’ve just studied.
