Some and any

We use some and any to determine what amount we are talking


about.

Many common phrases use some and any in front of a plural or


uncountable noun.

We use some for positive sentences and also to ask questions.

Example, Do you want some `pizza

There is milk in the fridge.

We use any to make negative sentences and also to ask


questions.

frisch

For example, there isn’t any apple in the fridge.

Do you have any children?
